Color-coated coils are products made from hot-dip galvanized sheets, hot-dip aluminum-zinc sheets, electro-galvanized sheets, etc., which undergo surface pre-treatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatment) and are then coated with one or more layers of organic coatings on the surface, followed by baking and curing. They are named for the various colors of organic coatings applied, commonly referred to as color-coated coils.

They are named for the various colors of organic coatings applied, commonly referred to as color-coated coils.
Color-coated steel strips using hot-dip galvanized steel as the substrate not only have zinc layer protection, but the organic coating on the zinc layer also provides coverage and protection, preventing rusting of the steel strip, resulting in a service life approximately 1.5 times longer than that of galvanized strips.
Applications
Color-coated coils are lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and have good corrosion resistance. They can be directly processed, with colors generally categorized as gray-white, sea blue, and brick red. They are mainly used in the advertising industry, construction industry, home appliance industry, electrical industry, furniture industry, and transportation industry.
The coatings used for color-coated coils are selected based on the usage environment, with suitable resins such as polyester silicone modified polyester, polyvinyl chloride plastic sol, and polyvinylidene chloride. Users can choose according to their intended use.
